Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess has its own resources and currency-like systems for players to deal with in this action strategy title. The most important resource players need to know about is crystals, which players will need plenty of if they want to succeed in the various Kunitsu-Gami stages.
How to Get Crystals the Fastest
The main way to get crystals in this game is to purge various objects around the stage. You only have so much time to spend in the daytime, but one of the most crucial objectives you should always aim for is to purge everything around the world. In general, look for the creepy hands and shadowy objects in the village.
You will then hold down the respective button, like Square on PlayStation, to purge it of the Seethe menace. This will net you some crystals. The first thing you should do whenever you enter a new stage or village is purge everything on the map before the sun sets. You get quite a lot of crystals this way.
You can also get crystals during the nightly Seethe battles, but these don’t often compare to purging in my experience.
What to Use Crystals for in Kunitsu-Gami
Once you have crystals in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, you’ll want to spend them wisely, as you only have so many. The two main uses for crystals (though there are others) is changing your villagers’ roles and carving a path for Yoshiro. The former is essential for surviving each nightly battle. I recommend thinking carefully before switching a villager’s role.
You don’t want to make a mistake and then need to change it again because that will waste crystals unnecessarily. I suggest changing villager roles before focusing on Yoshiro’s path. This is because you don’t want to spend all your crystals on the path and then not have any villagers ready to help out when the fighting begins. You can always come back and finish the path later.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is available right now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
