Best Way to Farm Money in Persona 3 Reload

As you progress through the game’s story, you will constantly use activities to increase your Persona 3 Reload Social Stats. It will quickly become apparent just how expensive this is, though, as your wallet will be drained after visiting the GameArcade for the hundredth time! So naturally, you may wonder what is the best way to make money quickly in Persona 3 Reload?

After spending over 100 hours in the game, we have the answer for you! The best way to get money in Persona 3 Reload is to run through floors you have already completed in Tartarus repeatedly. However, it’s not that simple. You will need to take a couple of steps before you can get this farming method up and running, which we will break down below.

Here are the steps you can take to farm money in Persona 3 Reload:

  • Visit Club Escapade during the Evening you plan to go into Tartarus.
  • Once inside, speak to the Fortune teller and choose “Rarity Fortune” to increase rare shadow spawns.
  • Enter Tartarus in a floor section you’ve already completed and run through the levels again.
  • As you run through each floor, smash every glowing golden statue you see to pick up “valuables” you can sell later.
  • Battle any Shadows you see, and during the Shuffle Phase, continue to pick the Arcana cards when they appear until you get an Arcana Burst.
  • Once your Arcana Burst is active, you can now have a chance to get a level 4 or higher Coin card after every battle.
  • During this farming phase, look out for any Gold Shadows, as they will give you double XP and Money.
  • Keep running the floors over and over repeatedly until you are done.
  • Leave Tartarus and then fast-travel to Paulownia Mall and enter the police station.
  • Sell all the collectibles you farmed in Tartarus to Officer Kurosawa. Using this method, you can get over 100k in around 30 minutes.

At its core, the goal of this farming method is to pick up as many “collectibles” as possible. The main way to do this is to look for the glowing golden statues throughout Tartarus. Simply run by them and slash them with your sword for a chance for an item to drop.

You could technically skip battles if you want to just farm the statues. However, I recommend you jump into as many Shadow battles as possible, as they give you a good number of collectibles that can be sold at the police station.

More importantly, the more battles you have, the quicker you can trigger an Arcana Burst by choosing the Arcana card during the Shuffle Phase. Once you have an Arcana Burst, you can get Level 4 to Level 5 Coin cards, which give you 2,000 to 3,000 yen instantly. That alone will earn you a lot of cash quickly.

As a final bonus, watch for the Golden Shadows we triggered by visiting the Fortune Teller in Clube Escapade. However, you must have your Courage Social Stat at least be Rank 2 “Ordinary” before entering the nightclub. These Golden Hand shadows can give you double money, which can be as high as 5,000 to 6,000 yen a pop. This adds up quickly!

How to get Money in Persona 3 Reload

If you don’t feel like grinding Tartarus, Persona 3 Reload features many activities that can generate money. The only downside is that these features will not give you a lot of money upfront. So these alternative features are more so if you want to build up a little cash here and there passively.

Below is a list of activities you can do to earn money in the early game:

  • Paulownia Mall: Work part-time at Chagall Cafe on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. The starting wage is 2,500 yen.
  • Port Island Station: Work part-time at Screen Shots on Sunday. The starting wage is 5,000 yen.
  • Naganaki Shrine: Spend 100 yen to draw a fortune. Random chance to get 500, 1,000, and 10,000 yen back.
