Starting on 7/9, you can unlock Elizabeth Request 40, “I’d like to see a pair of Max Safety Shoes,” in Persona 3 Reload. Like the feed a cat in Persona 3 Reload quest you get the same month, the Velvet Room hostess doesn’t actually give you a hint as to where you can get the item. Making things more complicated, there are actually two ways you can obtain Max Safety Shoes, with one of the methods hurting your wallet a lot more.
Tanaka’s Amazing Commodities
The first way to get Max Safety Shoes in Persona 3 Reload is to purchase them from Tanaka’s Amazing Commodities home shopping show on your Room’s TV on 7/12. The quest item is bundled with another product and can be picked up for around 9,800 yen. However, you only have one chance to purchase the Max Safety Shoes for cheap during this Sunday airing of the TV program.
Shady-Looking Man NPC
If you missed Tanaka’s Amazing Commodities TV show on 7/12, you still have one more shot at obtaining the fashion item. The second way to get Max Safety Shoes in Persona 3 Reload is to purchase them from the Shady-Looking NPC at Port Island Station on 7/19 and onward. However, this will cost you a whopping 20,000 yen, and the shady seller has no room for negotiation.
How to complete Elizabeth Request 40 “I’d like to see a pair of Max Safety Shoes”
The easiest way to complete Elizabeth Request 40 is to simply turn on your room’s TV on 7/12, and tune in to the Tanaka’s Amazing Commodities. However, if you miss it, here the steps to complete Elizabeth’s Request:
- During the Early Morning of Sunday, 7/12, interact with the TV in your room.
- Purchase the Max Shoes bundle for 9,800 yen during Tanaka’s Amazing Commodities.
- If you miss the show, wait till 7/19 and fast travel to the Port Island Island Station.
- Once here, look for the Shady-Looking Man NPC standing in front of the Screen Shot movie theater.
- Interact with the NPC and then purchase the Max Safety Shoes for 20,000 yen.
- Return to Elizabeth at the Paulownia Mall and give her the shoes to complete her request.
For completing Elizabeth Request 40, “I’d like to see a pair of Max Safety Shoes,” you are given 3 Twilight Fragments. Yeah…this reward is really not worth it, especially if you paid the Shady-Looking Man 20,000 yen. Hopefully, you didn’t miss out on the Tanaka’s Amazing Commodities show.
