How to unlock the JAK Burnout Kit in MW3
The JAK Burnout Kit is available through the MW3 Season 2 battle pass, but it doesn’t unlock in the same way as the other items there. Instead, it is part of the special B21 sector of the battle pass. This is separate from the usual tiers and requires players to complete a certain special challenge to unlock it.
Here is the challenge players must complete during Season 2 to get the JAK Burnout Kit in MW3:
- Get five eliminations against other players or special zombies with only throwing knives.
This is a pretty straightforward but somewhat challenging task. You need to equip the throwing knives as one of your equipment items and get five eliminations with them in multiplayer, Warzone, or Zombies. I highly recommend doing this in multiplayer, as it is a bit harder to take out those fast and deadly special zombies with throwing knives.
If you try to unlock the JAK Burnout Kit after Season 2, it will be part of the Armory Unlocks. Players then have to complete several daily challenges to unlock it.
How the JAK Burnout Kit Works
The JAK Burnout Kit completely changes how the Holger 26 LMG works in MW3. Normally, this is one of the more forgettable light machine guns in the game. But this conversion kit makes it a bit more viable in multiplayer and even Warzone. This mod makes the gun much, much faster than it usually is. In fact, it becomes faster than almost every other LMG in the game.
This comes with some drawbacks, such as how it overheats the longer the player holds down the trigger. But with the right breaks between firing, the Holger 26 can be much deadlier with the JAK Burnout Kit.
