Where to get Iron Pipe in Tales of Arise

It’s worth noting that the locations for the Iron Pipe in Tales of Arise and Beyond the Dawn differ entirely. Make sure to keep this in mind. With that said, if you are playing the base game, there is one place to get the Iron Pipe material. You want to head to the town of Niez in the Mahag Saar region of the game. Here, you can find a bard NPC in the location marked in the image above.

Speak with the bard, and he will offer you “The Mysterious Pair,” which is a side quest about finding a lost instrument. There is a riddle involved, but the answer to it, if you want to skip ahead, is to look for the instrument in the Iglia Wastes area. Bring him the instrument to complete the quest, and you’ll get the Iron Pipe as a reward.

On the other hand, if you are playing the Beyond the Dawn DLC, you’ll have to look in a completely different location, even though Niez exists in this version. Instead, you want to head to the city of Viscint in the Elde Menancia region. Near the palace are the Training Grounds where you can take on various combat challenges.

You’ll need to do the combat challenge with Alphen alone and finish it with a completion time of less than eight minutes. If you are successful, you’ll receive the Iron Pipe as a reward alongside other items. You can craft the powerful Realm Unifier weapon for Alphen with the Iron Pipe.

Tales of Arise and the Beyond the Dawn DLC are available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
