With a limited console beta like the one Riot is running for Valorant, only a select few are able to get in. How exactly do you make yourself eligible for the Valorant PS5 and Xbox Series X Console Beta, and what happens once you’re in?
How do I get into the Valorant PS5 and Xbox Series X Console Limited Beta?
The limited console beta will give you a firsthand look at how Valorant performs on a PS5 or Xbox. This opportunity will include any unique features or optimizations. You can expect periodic updates and patches during the beta phase, as Riot Games gathers feedback and makes improvements based on player experiences, so don’t expect it to be perfect as-is.
Luckily, signing up for the Valorant console beta is simply a click away. First, head to the Valorant Console Limited Beta registration page. This page has a sign-up form where you can enter your details, including your preferred platform and your email address. Ensure that the email you provide is one you frequently check, as all communications will be sent there.
After submitting your registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Afterwards, keep an eye on your inbox (and your spam folder, just in case) for any further instructions or updates. Beta access invitations will begin going out starting on June 14, 2024.
However, Riot Games will continue to distribute invitations throughout the entire limited beta period. If selected, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to download and access the game on your console.
Additionally, if chosen for the Valorant console beta, you can invite friends to join you. If you receive an invitation, you will also get a personal referral link that allows you to invite up to five friends to join the beta. I feel this is a great way to ensure you have a squad ready to dive into the game together.
Valorant is currently available on PC and the Console Limited Beta period for the PS5 and Xbox Series X begins June 14, 2024.
