Where do I get Golden Salmon in Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg?

As you might expect, the fish can only be gathered from the water. While there are a couple of areas that have water you can take materials from, only one place contains Golden Salmon in Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg. That’s Strudel Falls. But only during the Spring and Summer seasons.

Once you’re at Strudel Falls in the Spring or Summer, walk through the area until you reach the basin near the large waterfall. You’ll see a green dot here that indicates a gathering spot. Interact with this, and you’ll fish up at least one Golden Salmon.

If you need more, move into the next section of Strudel Falls and then return to the basin. Rinse and repeat until the gathering spot in the basin respawns. If you’re getting Golden Salmon for a townsfolk request, ensure you keep an eye on your days if you’re making multiple gathering attempts so that you don’t hand it in late.

Strudel Falls’ miniboss, Wirbel, drops Golden Salmon upon defeat, but it is a tough battle, so if your team isn’t leveled high enough, it may not be worth trying. Waiting until the Spring or Summer and getting the fish from the gathering spot is much easier.

Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is available now on the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
