As you unlock synthesis recipes and take on townsfolk requests in Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg, you’ll sometimes be tasked with gathering a Golden Rock or two. Here’s how to find the material which, according to the Guide, smells like rotten eggs. Lovely.
Where do I get Golden Rock in Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg?
Golden Rock is found at two locations outside of the town of Salburg in Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg. These are Mount Wieland and Meyer Cave. Unlike other materials like Fairy Wings, a Golden Rock isn’t seasonal, and you can get ahold of it all year round. Note that both areas have a recommended level of 20, so make sure your team is strong enough to survive any battles that may take place there.
Travel to Mount Wieland or Meyer Cave and look for gray rock with gold glittering ore. This is where Golden Rock is gathered from. If you don’t see any, move to the next section of the area you’re in and keep moving between sections until one appears.
Alternatively, Golden Rock can also randomly drop from Cobalt Gargoyle enemies found in both Mount Wieland and Meyer Cave. They’re level 28, though, so bring some healing items along with you if you’re going to be jumping into fights.
Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is available now on the PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
