Whether you are a beginner or an advanced player, someone will want to find ways to get Genshin Impact Wishes so you can pull on the gacha banners. There are a lot of ways to do so both by paying and playing, and here’s a guide to some options I recommend.

Take on every quest

Many quests in Genshin Impact will award you Primogems for completing them. For example, the Archon Quests can give you 60 and Intertwined Fates. So if you keep up with the story and various sidequests, you’ll build up a nice collection of currency to use on the gacha banners.

Level Up

Leveling up characters, your World Level, Statues of the Seven, and in-game elements like the Dragonspine Frostbearing Tree and Inazuma Sacred Sakura can get you Primogems or Acquaint Fate items. So if you have a character and ascend them so they can reach higher levels, you’ll get one Acquaint Fate for the first, third, and fifth ascensions. You get 60 Primogems every time you hit a new Statue of the Seven level in a region. For each of the four Adventure Rank Ascensions, you get two. You also get two from the Frostbearing Tree and 20 from the Sacred Sakura.

Also, level up the Battle Pass! If you aren’t paying for it, you get five Acquaint Fates. If you are, you also get an additional four Intertwined Fates and 680 Primogems for maxing it out.

Essentially, as long as you keep making progress, you get kinds of currencies you can use for Genshin Impact Wishes.

Keep an eye out for events

There are often login events, during which HoYoVerse can give away Intertwined or Acquaint Fate items. These are a kind of orb-shaped currency that can be used for a single pull on one of the Wish banners. If you manage to get 10, then you can perform a ten-pull with them.

In addition, events can offer Primogems as rewards. If you take part in them and get 160, you can use that for a single pull on one of the Genshin Impact Wishes banners.

Also, whenever there is a Special Program, HoYoVerse gives out codes worth 100 Primogems each.

Go to the Paimon’s Bargains Starglitter Exchange and Stardust Exchange Shops

If you head into the monetization and real-money currency menus, you’ll find there are the two Paimon’s Bargains shops. Each one lets you trade earned currencies from gacha pulls on various items.

You get 15 Masterless Stardust each time you get a three-star weapon from the gacha. Each month at the Stardust Exchange, you can trade that currency for five Intertwined Fates and five Acquaint Fates items you can use on the three types of Genshin Impact Wishes banners. Each Acquaint or Intertwined Fate there costs 75 Masterless Stardust.

You get between 2 and 25 Masterless Starglitter for pulling four and five-star characters and weapons in Genshin Impact. That can then be spent at the Starglitter Exchange. The Acquaint or Intertwined Fate items cost 5 Masterless Starglitter each there, and there’s no limit on how many you can exchange for each month.

Buy currency

There’s a 1:1 exchange of Genesis Crystals to Primogems. You can buy packages of them with real money, with the smallest amount being 60 Genesis Crystals for $0.99. You can then convert those in-game to get a 160 Primogem pull on a banner.

However, one of the best bets if you do want to spend real money is the $4.99 Blessing of the Welkin Moon. That gets you 300 Genesis Crystals when purchased and 90 Primogems every day for 30 days, ending up with 2,700 Primogems total. That gets you about 16 pulls on a banner after the 60 days are up. (17, if you dump the Genesis Crystals into Primogems.)

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices.
