Flow-Infused Planks are a high level crafting material that is used in making more intricate pieces of furniture. This guide will explain everything you need to know about obtaining Flow-Infused Planks in Palia.
How to get Flow-Infused Planks in Palia
In order to get Flow-Infused Planks, you will need to find Flow Trees. Much like obtaining Palium Ore in Palia, this is a bit random. To spawn Flow Trees, you must cut down trees in either Kilima or Bahari Bay. It really doesn’t matter which zone, so long as you’re keeping a steady flow of deforestation going. Don’t worry, the trees will always respawn. However, the more you harvest, the greater the chance a Flow Tree will eventually spawn in.
Flow trees are easy to spot as they have a sparkling purple aura around the base of their trunk. As of Patch 0.174, Flow Groves have been added to the game. This means an entire cluster of Flow Trees can now spawn in any area. These are a bit easier to find since they’ll have a swirl of lavender spiraling out above them. However, unlike Palium Ore, you will need a group to harvest Flow Trees, as it will always take at least two people to fell the tree. This is because it will regenerate slightly when hit.
Additionally, you will need to have a Fine Axe in order to harvest Flow Trees. You can create a Fine Axe with the following materials:
- 1 Standard Axe
- 10 Heartwood Planks
- 5 Iron Bars
Like all Tools, your Fine Axe will break if not repaired. You can repair it with Repair Kits or with Gold if you head to Sifuu’s Blacksmithing Forge in Kilima. Additionally, once you level up Foraging to Level 10, you can purchase Flow-Infused Planks from Asura for 3 Skill Medals. He can be found at the Kilima Tavern most of the day or walking around Kilima.
