How to get Flexwood in LEGO Fortnite

Flexwood is obtained from cactuses in LEGO Fortnite. You get it by using a Forest Axe, one of Rare rarity at least. Cactuses are found in the Dry Valley desert biome, easily recognizable by their large thorns sticking out all over. The plant is found in abundance all over Dry Valley, so you’ll have no issue farming it. Just run around the area hacking away at every cactus you see.

Because cactuses are in the desert, you’ll have to bring heat-resistance items such as Snowberries found in the Frostlands, or by equipping the Cool-Headed Charm, or your character will get hot and start to take damage.

How to get a Rare Forest Axe

Before you can cut Flexwood in LEGO Fortnite, you’ll need a Rare Forest Axe. You can craft one at a Crafting Bench that has been upgraded to Level 2 using the following materials:

  • 3 Knotroot Rods.
  • 5 Cut Amber.

To craft Knotroot Rods, you need Knotroot, which can only be cut from caves in the Grasslands. Cut Amber is obtained from a Gem Cutter by using Rough Amber, which is mined from mountains in the Dry Valley biome. You’ll need an Uncommon Pickaxe to mine Amber, which is made at a Crafting Bench with these materials:

  • 3 Knotroot Rods.
  • 3 Bones.

Now that you’ve got a Rare Forest Axe, you can chop cactuses for Flexwood in LEGO Fortnite.

LEGO Fortnite is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Android devices.
