Baldur’s Gate 3 has one of the most powerful amulets, the Amulet of Branding, available quite early to players in Act 1. If you get this amulet, you’ll be able to use the powerful Brand the Weak skill to overwhelm your opponents in Baldur’s Gate 3. But first, you need to obtain the Amulet of Branding so you can use it in the game.

Where to get the Amulet of Branding in Baldur’s Gate 3

To get the Amulet of Branding in Baldur’s Gate 3, head to the Githyanki Crèche, which you can find in the basement of Rosymorn Monastery in the Mountain Pass area in Act 1. There, you can find a trader named Quartermaster Ajaknir Jeera. Unfortunately, this quartermaster doesn’t sell you the amulet to easily get it.

Instead, you have to eliminate this NPC if you want to get the amulet. It is only available as loot from the character’s body. I recommend waiting until you deal with the commander of the Crèche first since it’s highly likely the Githyanki in this area will turn against you after that. At that point, it becomes quite easy to take out the NPC without much consequence and obtain the Amulet of Branding.

How Brand the Weak works in Baldur’s Gate 3

The Amulet of Branding is a powerful accessory item you can put on one of your characters. It offers the character the unique Brand the Weak skill. This skill lets the character use the ability once per long rest to expose the weak points on an enemy for three turns.

What this means is you’ll have double the normal damage for bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage to that target enemy for three turns. This makes the amulet perfect for tough boss fights.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for the PS5 and PC. It will also release for the Xbox Series X/S later in 2023.
