How to get the steamboard in Ova Magica
To get the snazzy-looking steamboard in Ova Magica, Jasper, one of the characters you can befriend and romance, will give you one after your bond with him reaches level one. For Jasper to appear on the map, make sure you visit the mayor when you receive the request on day two, as Jasper will not be available until you take this action. After you have done this, you can find Jasper messing around on his steamboard with his blob at the train station, which is east of the town square.
You will have to gain 15 points with Jasper to fill out his heart scale. This can be achieved in various ways, including talking to him daily, challenging him to blob battles or spending hard-earned cash at the clover courier office. Jasper tends to appear at the train station, inside the blob league by the cafeteria or at the water fountain in the town square.
However, if at any point you’re finding it hard to see Jasper, just check the map, and it will show you Jasper’s location that day. His blob is part of the magma family, so be careful if you battle him with a forest type blob, as you will be at a disadvantage.
After you have maxed out the heart scale, he will appear in Clover Valley, right by the entrance to your farm. When you interact with Jasper, a cutscene will start, and he will give you a steamboard of your very own. To use the steamboard around Clover Town, you must have it highlighted from your inventory, and you will then travel across the town quicker than if you were walking. When the steamboard runs out of juice, go to any water supply and simply refill it, as you would with a watering can. It appears that the steamboards are ecologically friendly.
