In the DD2 Readvent of Calamity quest, players are tasked with finding Ulrika in Dragon’s Dogma 2. However, this guide will explain what to do if Ulrika does not appear in Harve Village and how to fix the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Readvent of Calamity quest if it gets bugged.
Where to Find Ulrika in DD2 Readvent of Calamity
In the DD2 Readvent of Calamity quest, Ulrika can be found in Harve Village, which is directly east of Vernworth Capital. The only problem is that Ulrika doesn’t always show up in the seaside town. Some players have found themselves stuck, as the quest will not progress in her absence. Don’t worry we’ve got you covered.
There are several ways to fix the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Readvent of Calamity quest when it becomes stuck. That is because Dragon’s Dogma 2 expects you to complete certain steps in order to progress the plot. However, this sidequest can get buggy pretty quickly.
Here are the steps to force Ulrika to appear in Harve Village in DD2 Readvent of Calamity:
- Travel to Harve Village and speak to Fyoran at the entrance to get the Scaly Invaders Quest.
- Complete the Scaly Invaders Quest and then head back to Vernworth.
- Use any Vernworth Oxcart Station sign six times to progress time forward a week.
- Return to Harve Village and complete the second step of the Scaly Invaders Quest.
- Ulrika will now start appearing in Harve Village.
- Speak to her to complete the DD2 Readvent of Calamity Quest.
The main way to fix the DD2 Readvent of Calamity quest is to make sure the “Scaly Invaders” quest has been completed. However, I am going to break down a few extra steps that will force Ulrika to appear in Harve Village if she’s still not showing up.
Complete Scaly Invaders Quest
As stated above, the most important step in this storyline is to complete the “Scaly Invaders” quest. However, it should be stated that you may also need to complete the Monster Culling quest from Captain Brandt in Vernworth. Once this is done and you have the Readvent of Calamity quest active, travel back to Harve Village and speak to the Beastren named Fyoran at the front gate.
Fyoran will tell you that a group of Saurians are attacking Harve Village and will ask you to defend them. Quickly take out the creatures and speak to the NPC again. Fyoran will now ask you to visit the town at a later time when the town has been “rebuilt.” This is the exact part of the DD2 Readvent of Calamity quest where most players are getting stuck. Ulrika will not appear in Harve Village until you have completed the Scaly Invaders Quest and have moved the time forward by a week.
Unfortunately, resting at the Harve Village Inn doesn’t work. The campfire station outside of town is also bugged, so you will need to travel back to Vernworth. I know, I know, it’s a major pain! Once you are at the Capital, find any Vernworth Oxcart Station sign and interact with it to move time forward. Do this six times back-to-back (just to be safe), and then travel back to Harve Village.
After returning to Harve Village, Fyoran will inform you that the Saurians are back once again. Kill them one last time to complete the Scaly Invaders quest. You should now see Ulrika standing in the background. Walk up and speak to her to also complete Readvent of Calamity in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
Hire Luksa as a Pawn
If the above step doesn’t work, then you will need to travel to the Borderwatch Outpost in Melve. Yep, this is the location at the start of the game where you created your Main Pawn. The easiest way to reach the Borderwatch Outpost is to use the North Vernworth Oxcart Station and travel to Melve. Once at Melve, walk on foot north until you reach the Borderwatch Outpost camp.
Once here, find Luksa at the center of the Borderwatch Outpost. The Mage can be hired as a Pawn for free. For some strange reason, Luksa knows where Ulrika is hiding. Speak to her and select the “Matters of Import” dialogue option. She will then mention knowing where Ulrika has gone. Press “Up” on your D-Pad to get her to guide you. At this point, you can just make your way back to Harve Village.
The main thing that is bugging out the DD2 Readvent of Calamity quest is Harve Village not being “rebuilt” yet. This can only happen after you complete “Scaly Invaders.” For some reason, Capcom also made it so the village takes a week of in-game time to be cleaned up and rebuilt. And if you try to rest at any place too close to the town, time won’t move forward. As a result, a lot of people are finding this quest becoming stuck, as Ulrika never shows up where she is supposed to.
