When you’re greeted with this error message, simply select the ‘Yes’ option to confirm you must reset your rank and unlocks to continue. This will fix the Niamey Logan error and allow you to proceed into the game.

It appears as though this is just something that comes up for all players when starting the new season. Since the error was reported, the COD Updates official X (formerly known as Twitter) account has indicated that this is an incorrect error message.

The post confirms that players can “Rest assured that your rank, unlocks, and purchases are not lost, although Loadouts, customization, and certain settings may be reset.” A hotfix has also been released by developers Sledgehammer to prevent this error from appearing for any players trying to jump into the game after the servers went live as soon as Season 1 dropped.
