While the endgame sidequest for Torgal involves no fighting, the “Priceless” mission tied to Jill in Final Fantasy XVI involves quite a bit. This one is part of the last batch available ahead of the “Back to Their Origin” storyline quest. It also results in “joining hands with Jill,” making her a part of Clive’s party in Final Fantasy XVI until you head into that final mission.

Editor’s Note: There will be no story spoilers in this “Priceless” Final Fantasy XVI quest guide.

While this is a Final Fantasy XVI quest connected to Jill, she won’t be the one giving “Priceless” to you. After getting the “Back to Their Origin” quest and finishing the “Where There’s a Will” one, you’ll see a new Missive come up from the same person who gave you that quest. Head to Clive’s desk in the hideaway to read it and take on “Priceless.” You’ll then need to head to the person who gave you that quest and select the “Priceless” dialogue option to kick it off.

The first place you’ll need to go to is Mann’s Hill in Rosaria. That’s where Clive first saw the Snow Daisies. After visiting and finding them gone, you’ll need to head back to the hideaway and speak to Frederica the botanist. She’ll suggest another spot to check the Royal Meadows at the Sanbreque map. You’ll then need to head to that location. In both cases, the in-game map is incredibly accurate and the spaces are easy to find, so we’ll go ahead and omit the map this time.

Heading to the Royal Meadows after teleporting in from the Northreach Sanbreque fast travel point will yield a field of Snow Daisies. However, a bunch of monsters are also enjoying them. This is a multi-wave assault. the first round consists of some smaller level 40 enemies like Worgens. However, the second brings in a level 40 Oillepheist Bull minotaur-type enemy. It’s not terribly terrifying, but it is shielded and takes a few hits to defeat. Finishing off those fights gets you 1,950 EXP, 190 AP, 760 gil, a Minotaur Mane, 36 Sharp Fangs, 36 Bloody Hides, and 16 Magicked Ash.

The “Priceless” quest in Final Fantasy XVI will then conclude with Clive bringing Jill to the Royal Meadows. You’ll see a brief story segment. You’ll then get 7,200 EXP, 40 renown, a Snow Daisy Garland curiosity for Clive’s room, and a Shiva’s Kiss accessory that reduces the Diamond Dust cooldown by 7.5 seconds. You’ll also get the “joining hands with Jill” message, which confirms she’ll be part of your Final Fantasy XVI party until you go into the final mission.

Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PlayStation 5. A demo is out now as well. There is a six-month exclusivity period.
