Unlike The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, its sequel The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom starts you out in the sky. There are four Shrines here that you must reach to learn Link’s starting abilities, though finding them all can prove complicated. Here’s how to find the second Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, also known as In-Isa Shrine.
OK, I’ve looked for ages… How do I find the second Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom?
That’s what I thought to myself when trying to track down the second Shrine, too. Great Sky Island is huge! But once you know how, it’s not all that difficult and serves as a tutorial for using your shiny new Ultrahand ability that you learned from the first Shrine.
From Ukouh Shrine, head southwest, and you’ll reach a large gap you can’t jump over. “How do I get across then?” you ask. You need to use Link’s Ultrahand to create a bridge. Use the nearby wooden panels and glue them together to craft one, then place it across. If you make a mistake, it is easy to unfuse your creation and make sure it works for you.
Once on the other side, you’ll encounter another bridge puzzle involving some logs. Make another bridge to get across this gap. Continue forward on your way to find the second Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom, where you’ll reach more logs, a hook, and a rail. Create a raft and glue the hook to it like a coathanger. Then place it on the rail, hop on, and ride it to the other side.
Uh, there’s a lake here. How do I cross it?
Keep going. You’ll reach a large lake that Link can’t swim across. Grab the Two-Handed Stone Axe from the tree stump here and chop the trees to get logs, then use Ultrahand to glue them together like a raft. You’ll also find a sail on the ground. Fuse it to the raft. Then place it on the water, jump on, and ride your makeshift boat to the other side.
You’re almost there! Walk up the stone steps to reach the second Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom (map coordinates 0027, -1503, 1408), In-Isa, where you’ll learn Link’s Fuse ability.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch. If you love the game and want some merchandise, there’s a bunch to choose from already.
