It’s great when one Notorious Mark in Final Fantasy XVI can eventually help you find another. It happens quite a few times, often with ones that appear later in the game or that showed up as part of sidequests. In the case of The Blood Moon Terminus in Final Fantasy XVI, you probably already found the Crock where it is lurking due to the Bomb King. Also, this A-rank quest showed up for me right around when the “Brotherhood” story quest appeared, so that’s when you should see it too.

Where is The Blood Moon Terminus in Final Fantasy XVI

The Notorious Mark The Blood Moon Terminus is easy to find in Final Fantasy XVI if you already completed “Weird Science.” This is because it is in the exact same place the Bomb King was before. The notice on the Hunt Board actually directs you to The Crock in Sanbreque. So if you already found that tiny offshoot of that map already, it’s as simple as teleporting into the map via the Dragon’s Aery fast travel point. The Crock and Terminus’ locations both are highlighted in the screenshot I shared below.

Terminus is the same sort of the enemy as the one you just faced in Waloed before the “Brotherhood” mainline quest. That means lots of beams and explosions. Since this time I had a very strong ally with me, it felt like it took less time to beat the level 40 foe. (It probably helped that my Clive was at level 45.) It will use attacks like Short Circuit though, so watch out for that.

The thing is, the rewards are very anticlimactic for The Blood Moon Terminus being an A-rank Final Fantasy XVI Notorious Mark. All you get out of it are 3,200 EXP, 85 AP, 9,800 gil, 35 renown, and two Meteorites. Considering how common Meteorites are, it’s quite a letdown.

Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PlayStation 5. A demo is out now as well. There is a six-month exclusivity period.
