During the Missing Jewel case in Detective Pikachu Returns, a side quest will have you searching for a soccer Pokemon. The little boy will want you to find a certain starter to train with him. Here is where to find the practice partner for the soccer boy in Detective Pikachu Returns.
Where do I find a practice partner Pokemon in Detective Pikachu Returns Ryme City?
During the Missing Jewel case, you can find the Soccer Boy in Ryme City’s Fountain Plaza. The NPC is standing in front of a set of tables and chairs just behind the Slowpoke fountain. Speak to the little boy to pick up his side quest. For his Local Concern, you are tasked to “find a practice partner for the soccer boy.”
The practice partner for the soccer boy is Raboot in Detective Pikachu Returns. However, you must now track down the Galar starter to complete the side quest. Thankfully, the Sword and Shield Pokemon is nearby! Raboot is located in Serenity Park, east of Fountain Plaza and past the Denis Residence. Enter Serenity Park and immediately take a left up the stairs, where you will find Raboot standing near a guardrail.
After you speak to Raboot, a cutscene will play out, and the Soccer Boy will meet up with the soccer Pokemon and end the quest in Detective Pikachu Returns. Pretty easy, right?
