Wheat is one of several crops in Palworld that can be used to grow your own food. While the first crop you find will be berries, it won’t be long until you find wheat, allowing you to make bread for you and your Pals.

Where do I find Wheat Seeds in Palworld?

Wheat Seeds are surprisingly easy to find in Palworld. It’s possible that your base may have been visited by the Wandering Merchant, and one of his items for sale is Wheat Seeds. Of course, relying on a random visit isn’t ideal, but you can go to him instead.

The Wandering Merchant can be found in his shop in a place called Small Settlement, just southwest of the Rayne Syndicate Tower. You can reach it by going to the fast travel point to the southeast of the tower, walking past the ruins, and going through the passageway between the cliffs. When the path opens and you can see the tower ahead of you, head left and follow the path that leads up and to the left into the hills. A fast travel point should appear grayed out on your map. Head towards it, and you’ll find the settlement.

Head north of the Small Settlement fast travel point into the main part of the village. You’ll see a shack directly ahead of you, which is where you’ll find the Merchant. He sells Wheat Seeds for 100 Gold each and will happily buy any treasure you find if you need some extra cash.

Here are some screenshots I took showing the map location and his shack, as well as a peek at his inventory.

How do I grow Wheat in Palworld?

In order to grow wheat, you need a Wheat Plantation. This will appear on the Technology tab when you get to level 15, and the recipe requires 2 Technology Points to unlock. To make the Wheat Plantation, you will need 3 Wheat Seeds, 35 Wood, and 35 Stone.

It works the same way as the Berry Plantation. You will need seeds to be able to keep planting new crops. If you have Pals in your base with Planting, Watering, and Gathering skills, they will be able to take care of it for you.

Palworld is out now in Early Access for the PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
