You need to travel to Dogtown to start the Phantom Liberty DLC in Cyberpunk 2077. The only problem is you can’t just walk through the front door of the makeshift city as it is heavily fortified with security. Here is how to enter Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC.
How do I get inside Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC?
To enter Dogtown in the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC, you will need to sneak into the garage using the backdoor entrance. At the start of the Dog Eat Dog quest, Songbird will ask you to infiltrate the restricted area of the Dogtown border stealthily. The first step to doing this is entering the walled-off section by using the nearby dumpster. The trash bin may be hard to see at first, as it blends into the wall. But once you get close enough, there will be a prompt to hop inside.
After entering and exiting the dumpster, you will end up on the other side of the fence with a group of guards. The goal is to make it to the garage door, which is just a few feet away. There are a few ways to go about doing this. If you want to stick to what the story intends, then you will want to use stealth and sneak past the guards. You can hack enemies to overheat them or distract them with nearby lights.
The easiest method, though, is just to crouch and sneak up behind a guard to grab them. You can then kill or knock out the first two guards one by one, which will then give you an open pathway to the garage door. You don’t actually have to do stealth here, as alerting the guards has no consequences once V rolls themselves under the garage entrance. In fact, you can even pull your gun out and start shooting the patrolling enemies. You just need to make your way to the garage and enter it.
Once you are inside the garage, you will need to power on the lift to enter Dogtown in the Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC. Make your way through the garage and crouch under the broken wall to enter a room with a big metal sheet on the floor. You will be able to move the metal sheet with a button prompt. After V lifts the object, you will drop down into the generator room.
Next, make your way down the hallway to turn the lights on. After interacting with the generator switch, you will need to turn around and make your way back the way you came to find the access point on the wall. With the generator active, you will now be able to jack into the console and power up the lift. Finally, meet Songbird on the makeshift elevator to trigger a cutscene.
The next section will contain a few parkour areas, as V will have to jump from construction beams to makeshift ramps. Eventually, you will make your way to the top of the building, where you will be able to enter Dogtown through a backroom. However, the trickiest part of getting into Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC is sneaking past the guards to get into the garage. Once you reach the lift, Songbird will escort you to the makeshift city after a few cutscenes of dialogue and parkour traversal sections.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. The Phantom Liberty DLC will be released on September 26.
