How do I beat Wirbel in Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg?

The first time I encountered Wirbel in Atelier Marie Remake, my team was roughly level 12. While I could dispatch other enemies around Strudel Falls easily at that level, Wirbel knocked everyone out in just two moves. I’d recommend you should be at least level 20 before you encounter them, with everyone else in your party around that level as well for ease.

Before you jump into battle with Wirbel in Atelier Marie Remake, ensure you bring along healing items like Altena Water or Ripe Apples. Those heal 50 HP apiece. If you don’t have any, you can pick Mystica in Strudel Falls on your way to Wirbel. It only heals 5 HP per use, but it’s useful in a pinch.

Consumables that restore MP also help, especially for party members that rely on skills to deal the majority of their damage. Mystica Leaves is a good pick, healing 30 MP per use. They’re synthesized in Marlone’s Atelier using Mystica, Puniballs, and a Green Neutralizer.

Finally, it’d be wise to bring items that deal magic or physical damage. For example, Spirit Glow deals 155 magic damage to an enemy. This is perfect against Wirbel, especially if you’re low on health, as it takes out a big chunk of health quickly. You can synthesize them using a Rain Stone, Distilled Water, and a Blue Neutralizer.
