How do I defeat Heavy SWAT members in Payday 3?

Payday 3 has many different enemies you’ll face across the various heist missions you can tackle. These include foes like gangsters, police officers, Blue SWAT members, and even Heavy SWAT members. The heavy ones are some of the most challenging foes you’ll find in the game, since they have body armor all over them that protects them from most damage.

If you try to shoot at the Heavy SWAT enemies anywhere on their core body except one part, you’ll find you’ll do little to no damage. It can take forever to eliminate them this way. Instead, the best way to take these SWAT team members out is through headshots. Focus on their helmet, which is their weak point, and continue firing there. This is the quickest way to eliminate them with ease.

How do I easily find Heavy SWAT members in Payday 3?

Now, some players may be wondering how to find Heavy SWAT team members in the first place. In general, they seem to appear on heist levels in the later waves of foes. On the normal difficulty, for instance, you might not see these enemies until the fourth wave or later as the police force comes after you.

However, you can make it a lot easier by turning the difficulty up. The higher the difficulty, such as hard or very hard, the more often Heavy SWAT team members will show up as regular enemies for you to take out.

Payday 3 is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
