How to Customize Dragon Ball Project: Multi Characters With Skins

Bandai Namco announced the MOBA game Dragon Ball Project: Multi for PC and mobile devices earlier this month. The beta for Dragon Ball Project: Multi is now live and available in Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK, and the US. The game’s unveiling was also accompanied by a trailer for the beta. If you want a new look, this guide will tell you how to customize Dragon Ball Project: Multi characters with skins.

How to Customize Dragon Ball Project: Multi Characters With Skins

Luckily, changing your skin is not the most complicated process. From the Dragon Ball Project: Multi home screen, you will want to go to the Heroes and Helpers department. With the character you want to customize, click on more details and then customize visuals. You will then be presented with a list of skins to change your character into. In this section, you can also customize the finisher attack, battle effects, and emotes.

Because this is a beta, the selection of customizable skins is not extensive, with many being different default color skins. But there are a few golden nuggets from the series here, like Gohan’s (Child) Frieza Force Battle Suit and the forever stylish Bad Man pink shirt for Vegeta.

There are ten playable characters in the beta. Goku has eight skins. Android 18, Vegeta, Krillan, Piccolo, Gohan, and Trunks have seven skins. Zamasu, Majin Buu, and Cooler all have six skins.

How to unlock skins in Dragon Ball Project: Multi

To unlock skins, you will have to obtain a capsule. Opening up a capsule will randomly give you a customizable item, including character skins, stamps and emotes. There are two types of capsules: normal capsules and special capsules. The normal ones have the default skins, whereas the special capsules have the more fancy skins.

There are various ways to get your hands on normal capsules. The main way is by levelling up your Star Grade, which is done by competing in matches. Another way is by completing some of the beginner missions. On the first day of the beta, I also got five capsules from the shop daily page, so it might be worth checking that as well. The special capsules are a bit more tricky. You can buy them with either Dragon Gems or Hero Coins. There is also a battle pass, which includes both types of capsules.
