The stone forge is one of the most useful outdoor construction items you can craft in Fae Farm. It allows players to smelt ore they’ve collected in the mines into metal ingots, which can be used to craft even more decorative and handy items. Metal ingots are also essential when it comes to upgrading your tools so you can break through tougher materials. You can also use it to make bricks out of materials like stone.
Where do I find what I need to craft a stone forge in Fae Farm?
To craft a stone forge, you will need two essential materials: 25 stone and 10 coal. You can collect stones by pressing the A button on your Nintendo Switch or interacting with any small rock on PC. You can find them in your Homestead’s yard. Your pickax will be automatically selected for your convenient use while mining stone.

To collect coal, you’ll need to take a visit to the Saltwater Mines. You can get there by opening your map on PC or pressing the minus button on your Nintendo Switch, then selecting the Saltwater Mines on the far right to place a tracker showing you how to get there. Here is where much of your mining will take place. You can find coal as soon as floor one. Interact with the black lumps of coal to automatically mine it. You can also find stone here as well.

Where and how do I craft a stone forge?
After you’ve collected enough stone and coal, head back to your Homestead. You can only craft the stone forge just outside your house in your yard. To begin crafting, press the down button on your Nintendo Switch or open outdoor construction on PC while standing in your yard. Then, press the down button again or open your Build Catalog on PC. Then, navigate to the crafting tab with your L and R buttons. The stone forge is the fourth item on this list. Select it with the A button, then press it one more time once you’ve positioned it to your liking. Now you can smelt metal ingots, bricks, and glass anytime with the items you collect in the Saltwater Mines.
