Throughout Hyrule, Link has countless adventures and hidden secrets to discover. One of the most well-kept secrets is the location of the Mother Goddess Statue in Tears of the Kingdom. You can head to this spot to find a dilapidated and depressed statue that you need to fix, which kicks off its own chain of events.

Where to Find the Mother Goddess Statue in Tears of the Kingdom

You can find the Mother Goddess Statue broken and in need of repair at -1070, 2682, -0081 in the Forgotten Temple area of the Tabantha Tundra region. Visit the statue here, and then you’ll have to check out one of the other three Goddess statues to pick up a secret quest.

You can find the three other statues at the following locations:

  • Goddess Statue of Courage: Faron Grasslands region at 0876, -2368, 0016.
  • Statue of Power: South of the North Akkala Valley at 3755, 2672, 0002.
  • Statue of Wisdom: Near the Mount Lanaryu Skyview Tower at 3919, -1332, 0466.

Each of these statues lets you know that they can’t connect to the Mother Goddess Statue, and they need you to find a specific dragon material to help reconnect them. The Statue of Wisdom needs the Naydra’s Claw, the Statue of Power needs Farosh’s Claw, and the Statue of Courage needs Dinraal’s Claw.

How to Get Dragon Claws

You’ll need to find dragon claws from three of the four main dragons in Tears of the Kingdom. These dragons have a set path, and you need to intercept them during their lengthy journeys.

To do so, I found your best bet is to head to one of the Depths chasms they go through and wait for the dragon to appear from there. You can find the three dragons at the following Depths chasms, but it might take some patience:

  • Dinraal: East Akkala Plains Chasm
  • Farosh: East Gerudo Chasm
  • Naydra: Naydra Snowfield Chasm

When they appear out of the chasm, jump off of a ledge or fly into the air and then hold down the ZL button to enter slow motion bow aiming. Aim for their claws and shoot at it to drop one of the claw parts. Pick this part up, and then bring it to each statue.

After giving the right claw to all three statues, return to the Mother Goddess statue and she will be whole again. You’ll receive the epic White Sword of the Sky, based on Link’s weapon from Skyward Sword. If you lose this sword, you’ll need to use amiibo to get it back.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
