Payday 3 hasn’t had the smoothest launch for an online game. People have had trouble on multiple platforms playing since launch. No matter when you’re playing this game though, you should know where to check the Payday 3 server status. After all, this is strictly an online-only multiplayer experience, so you’ll need to have a proper internet connection and the servers running to play it.

Best Places to Check the Payday 3 Server Status

There are a couple of places I recommend players check out if they want to see the current Payday 3 server status. The first of these is directly from Starbreeze Studios itself, the developer behind the game. I recommend checking out the company’s official X (formerly Twitter) account and see if it has updated it recently.

If there are rampant server issues going on worldwide, there’s a high chance the developer is aware of this already and has shared some news about it. On the other hand, if server issues are suddenly popping up for you, there’s a chance the developer hasn’t had the opportunity to post about it yet.

If this is the case, the other place you should look to check the Payday 3 server status is from a website like DownDetector. This is a user-generated website where players like yourself report issues they’re having with the servers. This results in a more instantaneous idea of how the servers are doing and whether or not the connection issues you’re having has to do with your internet setup or the game itself.

If you happen to check these two locations and everything seems alright, it may be a problem with your game. This is when you’ll want to go through the usual procedures of checking your internet, PC or console, and contacting support.

Payday 3 is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
