As you complete certain tasks around Hyrule, you’ll unlock new Paraglider Fabrics. It isn’t exactly clear how to change your Glider Fabric in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, though. I spent a good 30 minutes looking through all of the menus trying to figure it out. (I just wanted to give it a new look!) Here’s how to do it.

Though your first instinct might be to click on the Paraglider Fabric in the menu and apply it that way, that won’t work. Instead, you must visit the Kochi Dye Shop in Hateno Village at map coordinates 3403, -2142, 0121. It’s southwest of the Mount Lanayru Skyview Tower.

Once there, head inside and speak to Sayge. Select “Rework the Paraglider,” and you’ll be shown all of the Fabrics you’ve unlocked so far for your Glider. Hover over the one you want and pay the 20 Rupee fee to change your Glider Fabric in Tears of the Kingdom. (I chose the Mirror of Twilight Fabric I unlocked from an amiibo, because I think The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the best.)

You’ll be launched out of the dye shop chimney so you can preview and admire your new Glider appearance immediately.

How do I even unlock new Paraglider Fabric in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

There are multiple ways to get new Glider Fabrics. Mostly, you’ll automatically earn them as you play through the game. For example, when you stable a horse for the first time, you’re given the Horse-God Fabric, and you get the Sheikah Fabric when making a purchase at the armor vendor in Kakariko Village.

You can also get Paraglider Fabric as a drop via amiibo. That’s how I got the Mirror of Twilight Fabric. (Shoutout toThe Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Link amiibo. You’re a real one.) If you own any ones from the series, try scanning them and seeing what you get. Some feature some really exceptional designs.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now on Nintendo Switch.
