Starfield has a special feature that lets you change your character’s appearance whenever you want. Don’t like the color of your hair hours into your space adventures? You can edit that on the fly, no problem!
How do I change my appearance in Starfield?
There is nothing worse than booting up a new game, only to find out your protagonist doesn’t look anywhere as good as they did in the character creator. (Why does the lighting engine always alter our face so much?) Thankfully, Bethesda has given a quick solution to this age-old problem. In Starfield, you can change your appearance by visiting any Enhance! vendor.
The earliest you can change your appearance in Starfield is at the Enhance! store in New Atlantis. After exiting your ship at the Spaceport, walk through the UC security checkpoint and keep traveling north until you find the city’s shuttle system. Next, select the “New Atlantis Commercial District” and take the train ride across the city. Once you step off the shuttle, head straight until you find the Enhance! vendor on the left side of the shopping district. You will now be able to re-access the full Starfield character creator after speaking to the vendor and spending 500 credits.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any new hairstyles you unlock throughout the game, so Enhance! is the only place you can go to get a haircut. However, if you ever want to change the way your character looks, Starfield allows you to tweak every aspect of your character’s appearance whenever you want. Every major planet has an Enhance! as well, so just look for the vendor at any city’s shopping district anytime you want to freshen things up.
Starfield is available for the Xbox Series X and PC.
