How to change suits in Spiderman 2

To change suits in Spider-Man 2, you want to open up the main menu and select the suits tab. You can do this by simply pressing down on the touchpad on your Dual Sense controller, which will usually take you directly to the in-game map of New York City. Next, use the L1 and R1 buttons to tab over to the “suits” category on the menu.

Here, you can see all of the suits you have currently unlocked for Peter Parker and Miles Morales, divided up between the two. Now, all you need to do is move over to the suit you want to unlock and press the X button to equip it instantly. If you want to switch between Peter or Miles, you can use the L2 and R2 buttons. You can then back out of the main menu once you’re done, and you’ll automatically have your new suit equipped.

How to unlock more suits in Spider-Man 2

Of course, before switching outfits in Spider-Man 2, you need to actually unlock more suits for Peter Parker and Miles Morales beyond the default options. Besides the pre-order bonus automatically adding new costumes to your game, you have three main options to obtain new suits:

  • Continue the main story.
  • Unlock new suits in the menu by increasing the level of Miles Morales and Peter Parker.

The main story automatically gives you a handful of new suits, such as the Symbiote Suit for Peter Parker. But the easiest way to unlock new outfits is to head to the suits page in the main menu and spend Tech Parts and City Tokens to obtain new attire.

You can also craft different variants of some suits with even more currency. You can get currency like Tech Parts and City Tokens from completing side activities in the game like Photo Ops, Prowler Stashes, Spiderbots, and more.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now available exclusively for PS5.
