How to Make a Blob Barn

Before you can breed blobs in Ova Magica, you will need to build a blob barn. However, you will not get the blueprints for the blob barn right away. In order to get the blueprints, you will first need to meet all thirteen characters in Clover Town. For all characters to appear on the map, follow the mayor’s task on day two when he requests you to stop by his office. The mayor will then ask you to introduce yourself to the locals. After completing this quest, Flint will visit your farm two days later and give you the blueprints for the blob barn.

After you have obtained the blueprints, you will need to accumulate 50 pieces of wood and fibre. The best way to get these resources quickly is by knocking down the big trees on the farm. Concentrating on the trees back at the farm is also advantageous, as building outdoor structures will require space, and the fewer resources around the farm, the better.

How to Breed Blobs in Ova Magica

After constructing the building, you will need at least two blobs to occupy the blob barn. You must hatch these two blobs in the blob barn itself. The regular blob barn can hold four blobs at once, but you can buy bigger blob barns later. You can obtain blob eggs in various ways. The cheapest method is battling wild blobs, as they can occasionally drop eggs after the battle. But if you do not mind paying upfront, the festival events or shops back in Clover Valley are good alternatives.

Putting two blobs in the barn together will not be enough to make them breed. You will then need to purchase heart fruit from Flint’s shop, which will cost you 25 coins. The heart fruit will put the blobs in the mood for romance. After you have bought the heart fruit, put them on the feeder in the blob barn.

The following in-game day, your blobs should then be carrying an egg. You can tell if this process has been successful as an egg sign will be above the blob’s head. It will then take three in-game days until the egg is ready. On the third day, you should see a pink-colored egg in the blob barn. It’s worth mentioning that Ova Magica is still in early access, and not all 66 blobs are possible yet.
