The Payday 3 “Rock the Cradle” club heist is one of the more unique ones players can tackle in the game. It revolves around players infiltrating a club on one of its busiest nights and trying to steal the crypto card with all of their profits using stealth. However, while it focuses on stealth, you can technically do this mission guns blazing too. Here’s how to complete it both ways.
How to complete “Rock the Cradle” guns blazing in Payday 3
Unfortunately, completing the Payday 3 “Rock the Cradle” club heist by running in guns blazing means you’ll miss out on the crypto card entirely. However, there are still some rewards to get in the vault, and it makes this mission so much easier.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Enter the VIP area of the club by stealing the keycard from the bouncer or blasting your way in.
- Grab parts from the van and make the cage on the dance floor.
- Once ready, head down into the VIP areas of the club to locate the vault. It has a random location each time you do this so check every room on the bottom floor carefully.
- Find the nearby electrical panel to restart to the vault room power.
- Use your blacklight to check vault code you’ll need (there are three potential options and only one works)
- Head to the accounting manager’s office, which is right near the VIP area entrance.
- Look for the three codes in the same three places: on the chair by the computer, in the office closet, and in the safe.
- Use the correct random code to open the vault.
- Put the loot on the cage and escape.
How to complete “Rock the Cradle” using stealth in Payday 3
On the other hand, the “Rock the Cradle” club heist has a unique stealth approach as well in Payday 3. This is the most rewarding path you can take, but it requires patience and intense teamwork.
- Find the manager and hack her phone to get the QR code for her office.
- Go to the nearby manager’s office upstairs when you enter the club and steal the VIP invitation.
- Locate the RFDI reader, which is often in the room near the office, at the bar, or in the lounge downstairs.
- Pickpocket the keycard from the bouncer, enter the VIP area, and head to the accounting manager’s office upstairs.
- Look for the red keycard in the office, which has a randomly-generated location.
- Optional: Grab the vault codes here if you want some extra loot (but it pales in comparison to the crypto).
- Go downstairs to the room on the far side of the VIP area where the crypto wallet is and lure the guard away then pick the door.
- Use the red keycard to enter and look at the code on the whiteboard.
- Head into the room that uses the blue keycard and reset the biometrics for the wallet.
- Steal the crypto wallet and follow the marker to the drop off point and then escape to earn your rewards. You can optionally steal from the vault at this point if you want.
