Pikmin 4 is a game with timed levels, as you’ll have day expeditions and night missions. In each case, you only get to be around for a little way. This is due to “time” on the planet passing. While the easy answer to how long a Pikmin 4 day and night is minutes and minutes, respectively, that can sometimes vary.
How Long is a Pikmin 4 Day?
The answer is that it varies, as entering caves can extend the period of time. If you don’t go into any caves, it will probably be about 15 minutes. There is no timer in caves, but time does pass above ground while you are there. So if you are in a cave stage for 20 minutes, about three minutes of the overall day will have passed.
It’s also important to remember at the 7 minute mark, you’ll hear a ping that lets you know the halfway point arrived. Then, at about the 13 minute, 30 second mark, you will get a “hurry up” warning as the timer enters the red and days draw to a close. The final countdown starts at about 14 minutes, 30 seconds.

A night is much shorter in Pikmin 4, is it is only about 4 minutes long. Which is good, due to this being more of a horde mode. So you don’t need to try and push themselves as hard to survive.
