HoYoVerse has revealed the new events that’ll be available in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4. The name of this patch will be “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue,” and it’ll return us to the Xianzhou for yet another adventure.
Story Events
For starters, the Trailblaze Continuance by the same name of the patch will appear as permanent content. You’ll need to be over Trailblaze Level 21 to participate. Though it sounds like you can start it without first completing the Xianzhou Luofu story first, you really should so you know the full context of the plot. Once you complete the “March to Mastery: A Star Is Born” quest, you can get the March 7th Imaginary Hunt Path. As a reminder, unlike how Dan Heng has two separate units to use in battle, March 7th will be like the Trailblazer in which you swap between two Paths. In other words, you cannot have Preservation March and Hunt March on the same team.
As well, Yunli, who will be the new 5-star Physical Destruction character, will have her own Companion Mission. This will be permanently available as well. In order to start it, you will need to first finish the “Obsequies Performed, A Long Road Ahead” Trailblaze Mission (from Version 1.3) and “Rogues on the Run” (a new quest from this upcoming patch). Completing this quest will net you rewards like Stellar Jades and Lost Crystals.
Banners
During the special program for Version 2.4, HoYoVerse already told us who would be available on the banners for Honkai: Star Rail. As a reminder, from July 31 to August 21, 2024, you will be able to pull for Yunli and Huohuo. 4-stars available on rate-up in these banners are Hanya, Yukong, and Lynx. New character Jiaoqiu and returning character Sparkle will be in the second phase. This will run from August 21 to September 9, 2024. The 4-stars on rate-up will be Arlan, Guinaifen, and Hook.
The four signature Light Cones will also be available for a limited time. Yunli and Huohuo will have their signature Light Cones run with them, and Jiaoqiu’s and Sparkle’s will be in the second phase. If you don’t pull for their Light Cones during this period, you will need to wait until HoYoVerse re-runs them.
Gameplay events
For the entire patch, you can take part in the “Saga of Primaveral Blade” event, which will grant you Eidolons for March 7th: The Hunt. This event will focus on scheduling March’s training sessions with Yanqing and Yunli. Since this event will be a permanent one, you don’t need to rush to get to it if you haven’t met the requirements yet. However, there are some limited prizes like Stellar Jades and Self-Modeling Resins. Permanent prizes include a new Chat Box and Eidolons.
Operation Memoria Snapshot will be a photo-taking one. Prizes include Lost Crystals, Traveler’s Guides, and Stellar Jades. During this time, you’ll be taking pictures of characters and objects on the Xianzhou Luofu. Judging by the picture, these subjects include garbage cans. To participate, you must complete the “Tales from the Golden Age” Trailblaze Mission from Penacony. Another garbage-related event will be Trailblaze: Friendship Is Magic!. During this event, which will be in the second phase, you can complete Trashcan’s Trails in order to earn rewards like Tracks of Destiny and Stellar Jades. To participate, you must first complete the “Silent Galaxy” Trailblaze Mission from Jarilo-VI.
Recurring events
Recurring events for Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.4 include Gift of Odyssey. This time, we’ll see a picture of Yunli. Logging in every day will net you 10 Star Rail Special Passes for your pulls. There will also be Planar Fissure and Garden of Plenty events for farming. Finally, the Nameless Honor battle pass will update. This time, if you purchase Nameless Glory, you can get exclusive avatars of Bailu and Jiaoqiu. You can also get additional rewards like extra Stellar Jades and Fuels. These avatars are limited-time so if you miss them, you won’t get another chance to get them.
Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Version 2.4 of Honkai: Star Rail will go live on July 31, 2024.
