On paper, Sparkle just wants to join the Genius Society despite her lack of “cool skills” or major ambitions. In reality, she is a member of the Masked Fools, who worship Aha the Elation. Other Masked Fools that we’ve encountered so far in the series include Giovanni from Aetherium Wars and Sampo. The only thing Sparkle cares about is her own amusement, and she is a great actress who can hide her true self behind countless masks. Her design has a very strong Japanese aesthetic, complete with a kitsune mask she wears as a hair ornament. There are also goldfish swimming around her in her splash art.

More information on Sparkle’s kit will appear closer to her release window. In English, Lizzie Freeman voices her. Freeman has previously appeared as Trish in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind and Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil. Reina Ueda will voice Sparkle in the Japanese version of the game. Some of Ueda’s past roles include Kanao in Demon Slayer and Ganyu in Genshin Impact.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Sparkle will make her playable debut in Version 2.0 of Honkai: Star Rail along with Black Swan.
