There’s another new Honkai: Star Rail event involving the Simulated Universe and the Planar Ornaments you can earn there. It’s one that’s a little less involved than others. Rather, we basically go about our business in the mode, then gather rewards. However, HoYoVerse went over some things to know about the Honkai: Star Rail Planar Fissure event ahead of its June 23, 2023 start date.

To start, you need to already have access to Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail. This starts after you go through the tutorial Doomsday Beast boss fight at Herta Space Station. Doing that will unlock the Adventure Mission “Simulated Universe (Part 1).” You’ll then need to complete all associated missions with that questline, which also includes “Simulated Universe: Second Closed Beta.” Once you unlock complete access to this mode, you need to unlock World 3. If you have, then you can start getting the additional Planar Ornament rewards in Honkai: Star Rail during the Planar Fissure event.

There’s nothing special you need to do from there. When you go through Simulated Universe Worlds 3 or higher, you’ll be able to get double the rewards after beating bosses for a limited number of times. As a reminder, Planar Ornament sets involve two pieces of equipment. These are the Planar Sphere and Link Rope. Like Relics, they boost stats and equipping two from the same set gives you a bonus.

Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PC and mobile devices, and the Planar Fissure Simulated Universe event runs June 23-28, 2023. The game will also come to the PS5 later in 2023.
