It is once again time to farm Honkai: Star Rail Planar Ornaments in earnest, as the Planar Fissure event is back in Simulated Universe. This is a limited time event that briefly increases the drop rate for the pieces of equipment. It begins again on September 15, 2023 and will stick around for the week.
We’ve seen this event appear multiple times. It first appeared in June 2023, then returned in August 2023. Normally in Simulated Universe, you only get a minimal number of Planar Ornaments after defeating a miniboss or boss in a Honkai: Star Rail Simulated Universe world, but this event doubles that. However, each day this kicks in only a limited number of times when you check in at an Immersion Device after a major Elite or Boss fight.
As a reminder, there are two kind of Planar Ornaments you can get. They are divided into Planar Spheres and Link Ropes. As with Relics, these are found in sets. This means you get a set bonus if you equip two pieces from the same one on a character.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PC and mobile devices, and the Planar Fissure event will be live in Simulated Universe until September 22, 2023. The game will also eventually head to the PS5 in 2023.
