Honkai: Star Rail Firefly Game Controller on the Way

HoYoVerse revealed that it will produce and sell a new game controller inspired by Firefly from Honkai: Star Rail. The company will open its pre-order window in China on July 10, 2024. The item will also be available for pre-orders in Japan via Fantasy Village, which has a WorldShopping widget to support international shipments. [Thanks, Genshin Goods!]

This controller is being made similar to Xbox controllers’ button and stick layouts. However, miHoYo noted that this controller is intended for PCs and mobile devices. The user will be able to connect the controller wirelessly via Bluetooth.

miHoYo will offer the controller in two different sets. Set A will come with a storage pouch and a metal badge of Firefly’s armor SAM at 769 yuan / 24,500 yen ($105.80~$152.25), while Set B will add a charging dock for a grand total of 869 yuan / 26,500 yen ($119.55~$164.70).

This will be the second game controller based on characters from miHoYo’s games that it will produce. The company has previously revealed a similar controller modeled after Genshin Impact‘s Yae Miko. The latter has been available for pre-orders since June 2024, and Fantasy Village has both the standalone and set editions available for worldwide shipping via WorldShopping.

The Honkai: Star Rail Firefly game controller will be available for pre-orders in China from July 10, 2024. Fantasy Village will bring it to Japan around February 2025.
