Sensor Tower updated its charts for the highest grossing mobile games in April 2023, and Honkai: Star Rail already made enough revenue to be in the Top 10. This data only takes April 2023 into consideration. Sensor Tower split it into three categories: Overall Revenue, App Store Revenue, and Google Play Revenue. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

For reference, Tencent’s Honor of Kings made a combined $213 million (calculating both its App Store and Google Play earnings). Meanwhile, PUBG Mobile made $154 million. 62.2% of those earnings came from China’s iOS store, 9.4% from the US market, and 3.3% from Saudi Arabia.

While it is not on the Google Play Revenue chart and it’s fairly low on the rankings, one must remember when Honkai: Star Rail came out. It had its worldwide release on April 25, 2023 and as a reminder, this chart only takes April 2023’s data into consideration. While Honkai: Star Rail made a staggering amount of revenue when Jing Yuan’s banner launched (to the point that it broke the top-up service in China), that was in May 2023. So Sensor Tower did not use that revenue when making these charts.

All of the games on the April 2023 Sensor Tower charts are available on mobile devices. Some, such as Genshin Impact, are available on other platforms such as Windows PC.
