A Honkai Impact 3rd Evangelion event is about to begin. On January 21, 2021, the game will be getting different characters and elements inspired by the anime series. In particular, it’s to coincide with the launch of the newest Rebuild of Evangelion movie, Evangelion 3.0+1.0. miHoYo shared character art featuring Asuka and a trailer.
The event is called “Angel Descends Upon Nagazora.” As you might imagine, an Angel has invaded the world of Honkai Impact 3rd and it is up to the Valkyrja to fight back. As part of the event, Asuka Shikinami Langley will appear in both a unique and her plugsuit.
Here’s the trailer. It hints at things to come in the event, but doesn’t go over any specific details about things players will encounter. However, we do get to see plenty of Asuka.
Honkai Impact 3rd is available on the PC and both Android and Apple iOS devices. As a reminder, the PC version does have cross-save support, so people are able to continue playing across every possible platform. The Honkai Impact 3rd Evangelion event will begin on January 21, 2021, just ahead of Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time’s Japanese theatrical debut on January 23, 2021.
