Homesick Is An Adventure Game By Day, Horror Game By Night

Homesick is an upcoming indie title for PC that sounds like a cross between an adventure game and a horror game. It has you exploring an abandoned building, at peace, solving puzzles and clues and opening new areas up in the process. This part of the game is meant to make you feel at home and takes place during the daytime, as you try to figure out who you are.

At night, however, when you sleep, you’re haunted by nightmares of being chased, as you try to escape. This part of the game sounds more like horror, although perhaps more subtle than we’re used to. Puzzles in both the day and night portions of the game affect one another.

Homesick recently made it onto Steam Greenlight, and the game’s developers say that when the game is released, it will cost less than $15. As of now, there’s no concrete release date—just a 2013 timeframe.
