Cover stated that Mio had to go for an emergency visit on April 28, 2024. It apologized that it took so long to tell everyone and that it will not be publicizing what Mio has in order to protect her privacy. Though she is recovering, Cover made the decision to stop her from participating in the Hololive Gamers Fes and Music Verse Fes. At the end, it apologized for worrying fans.

The Music Verse Twitter (X) account also announced that due to Ookami Mio receiving treatment at the hospital, Tsunomaki Watame will appear at the event in her place. It also stated that it will not be offering ticket refunds as a result of this change. The Hololive Gamers Fes Twitter (X) account also stated that it will not be accepting refunds. According to the statement, this is due to how the tickets were sold and how the internal system works. This might be why Music Verse won’t be refunding tickets either.
