Hololive Vtuber Channels Hit 48.3 Million Subscribers

Cover revealed the financial report for the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2024 (Q1 FY2024/3). The company continues to show exponential growth in sales, as well as an increase in profits. Additionally, channel subscribers for all Hololive Vtubers continue to increase rapidly. Furthermore, annual revenue per enrolled performer showed constant growth. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The data shows a 42.8% increase in sales year-over-year, adding up to ¥5,142 million yen. Meanwhile, gross profit increased 73.9% to ¥2,634 million yen, while operating profit increased 147.5% to ¥895 million yen.

A sales breakdown shows growth of streaming/content, concerts/events, merchandising, and licensing/collaborations. Particularly concerts/events, and licensing/collaborations showed growth of 94% and 167.7% respectively.

Channel subscriptions for Hololive Vtuber channels rose 15.7% year-over-year to 48.3 million subscribers. Meanwhile, Holostars amassed 2.59 million subscribers. Hololive Indonesia is currently sitting at 9.44 million subscribers. Hololive English and Holostars English currently have 16.02 million and 1.46 million subscribers, respectively.

The total subscriber count of their 75 VTubers currently sits at 77.82 million subscribers. Although experiencing an expected seasonal reaction at the moment, earnings per VTuber continue an upward trend of expansion as well.
