Genda GiGO Entertainment announced that it will release new merchandise and taiyaki cakes modeled after the hololive NePoLaBo group. It will feature the four active members of hololive Japan’s fifth generation, which are Momosuzu Nene, Omaru Polka, Yukihana Lamy, and Shishiro Botan.
The campaign’s primary highlight will be the numerous merchandise modeled after the Vtubers in their outing attires. Most of these items will appear as crane game prizes. When the campaign launches on June 22, 2024, there will be acrylic stands, tin badges, cushions, and tumblers. GiGO will add T-shirts, acrylic boards, and chibi keychains to the lineup on July 13, 2024. People who spend 500 yen on the crane games can also get a random clear file or bookmark while stocks last. The crane games will be decorated further with special wrappings and stand panels at GiGO’s flagship outlet in East Ikebukuro, Tokyo.
In addition, several GiGO outlets will offer drinks or taiyaki cakes that cost 500 yen and come with a random coaster mat featuring one of the Vtubers. GiGO is also holding a collaboration campaign with Atlus’ Persona 3 and 5 around the same timeframe. But while the Persona series taiyaki is only available at the Akihabara stand, the NePoLaBo taiyaki will also be orderable at Cocono Susukino in Sapporo, Namba Sennichimae in Osaka, Hakata Ward in Fukuoka, and the taiyaki stand at GiGO’s flagship outlet.
The new hololive NePoLaBo merchandise and menu lineups will be available at GiGO outlets across Japan from June 22, 2024, to July 28, 2024.
