Hololive Gamers Fubuki, Mio, Okayu, and Korone Song Filled With Callbacks

Cover just released a new Hololive Gamers original song featuring Inugami Korone, Nekomata Okayu, Ookami Mio, and Shirakami Fubuki. The music video is filled with callbacks to various retro games, only with the Vtubers inserted into them.

“We are Gamers” is available streaming on multiple platforms. People can find the track on services like Amazon, Apple Music, Deezer, and Spotify. It is also possible to purchase the single from places like Amazon for $2.58. This is the unit’s first original song, and it appeared at Hololive Gamers Fes 2024. (As a note, Ookami Mio was absent from that live performance due to an illness.)

Here is the full music video performance for the song. If you turn on closed captions, an English translation is available. There are references to Nintendo games like Pokemon and Super Mario during the Fubuki section. There’s an Altered Beast callback during Mio’s portion. A Fantasy Zone aesthetic comes up when Okayu is singing. Meanwhile, Korone’s begins with a DOOM-like introduction. Other series like Mega Man, Star Fox, and Street Fighter are referenced.
