Netmarble’s smartphone action RPG The King of Fighters: All Star is celebrating the upcoming release of Samurai Shodown with a special collaboration that got a live-action trailer that features a couple Kamen Rider alumni with Hiroshi Fujioka, a.k.a Segata Sanshiro, as Haohmaru and Yuichi Nakamura as Kyo Kusanagi.

 

Here’s The King of Fighters: All Star x Samurai Shodown’s collaboration trailer:

Hiroshi Fujioka portrayed Takeshi Hongo, the hero in the first Kamen Rider, but here we see him as Haohmaru from the Samurai Shodown series. Kyo Kusanagi from The King of Fighters here is Yuichi Nakamura has portrayed Kyosuke Kiriya in Kamen Rider Hibiki and Yuto Sakurai in Kamen Rider Den-O.

The collaboration kicked off in the Japanese version of the game today, featuring gacha appearances by Haohmaru, Rimururu, Genjuro, and Charlotte. Ukyo Tachibana’s Special Card will also be obtainable through an event mission.

 

It’s also been teased that The King of Fighters XIV’s version of Nakoruru will make an appearance during the collaboration but more information will be revealed on a later date.

 

The King of Fighters: All Star is available for iOs and Android in Japan and South Korea. The game is expected to release in the Americas and Europe in 2019.
