Entergram announced that the supernatural horror visual novel Higurashi When They Cry Hou will release for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on July 26. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
The Nintendo Switch version of Higurashi When They Cry Hou will come with its 19 chapters as well as three scenarios new to console with Outbreak, Outbreak Kami Kashimashi, and Teiryujo. It’ll feature character designs by Tomozo for Teiryujo.
The game will play in full-HD while on TV Mode. There will also be the updated “Quiz Oyashiro Ver. 2018” included as well. Theme songs and music from previously released console titles from the series will also be included.
Higurashi When They Cry Hou first released in August 2014 for PC. It is the more updated version of Higurashi When They Cry with a new opening, new characters, and more.
Higurashi When They Cry Hou will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan for 7,980 yen on July 26, 2018.
