Hidden 3D Pictures Uses DSi Camera To Add A 3D Effect

Nintendo and Wario Ware: Shake It developer Good Cool have a neato game where you search for hidden objects. OK, that may not sound groundbreaking, but the technology is amazing.

By using the Nintendo DSi’s camera Hidden 3D Pictures simulates depth.

 

Tilt the Nintendo DSi to change your viewing angle, which makes letters and other objects appear. Find everything to clear the stage. Hidden 3D Pictures is a 500 DSiWare Point ($5) download and is slated for March 3 in Japan. Nintendo has not announced it for any other region, but since the game has hidden letters and not kanji Hidden 3D Pictures shouldn’t be a problem to localize.
