Herrscher of Flamescion Tutorial Explains How to Use the Battlesuit

Kiana has a new S-Rank Battlesuit in Honkai Impact 3rd—Herrscher of Flamescion. To help people get accustomed to how it might work, miHoYo shared a new tutorial video. It looks at gameplay and explains how it will function in battle, so someone could make a more informed decision before trying to acquire it in-game.

The video begins with a brief clip of the animation created to introduce the Herrscher of Flamescion. Then, it offers an overview of this new fire DPS unit. People can see the model during this segment, before the video gets to gameplay. It points out that her ground and aerial attacks both function differently, resulting in a flexible playstyle that deals fire damage. Someone could take an enemy on the ground, use the ULT attack to send it into the air, then continue a combo. Likewise, if Kiana is already in the air attacking an opponent, you could hit ULT to smash them into the ground and continue the onslaught there. It also points out her passive Fiery Hymn’s Pledge barrier, which protects Kiana and increases her attack.

There also seems to be a risk-reward element here. This Honkai Impact 3rd video points out that a combo attack puts Kiana into her Herrscher form. While this makes her stronger and change her attacks, her health will continually drop while she’s in this form.

A past video featured miHoYo talking about how this Battlesuit was made.

Honkai Impact 3rd is available for PCs and Android and Apple iOS devices. The Herrscher of Flamescion S-Rank Kiana Battlesuit was added to the game when patch 5.0 arrived on August 12, 2021.
