Heroes of Ruin Demo Will Let You Try Online Co-Op

This week, Square Enix will publish a Heroes of Ruin demo on the Nintendo eShop in Europe, and as a pleasant surprise, it will have both online and offline co-op for you to try out with other friends who grab it as well.

The full version of Heroes of Ruin will be released in Europe on June 15th. North America will get the game a month later on July 17th. A Diablo-style loot-driven RPG, Heroes of Ruin will allow for four players to play together locally or over the Internet, and will support voice chat as well. Square haven’t announced when the U.S. will see the demo yet.

Square Enix and n-Space say they’ve added over 80,000 weapons to Heroes of Ruin, including higher-ranking Legendary items and items that form complete sets together. These will be harder to find, however, and have a better chance of being found in multiplayer.
